John 1

 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
 2. The same was in the beginning with God.
 3. All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that hath been made.
 4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
 5. And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.

 14. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth.

Acts 4

12. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus Christ.

How may a person become a Christian?

1. You need to be saved...                            

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”   (Romans 3:23)

• “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
• (Romans 6:23)

“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”   (John 3:3)

2. You cannot save yourself...

“For by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

3. This is God plan for your salvation...

(a) Repent-

“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3)

(b) Believe-

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31)

(c) Confess-

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10)

4. What is Christ’s Promise to you?

“ For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)

“Him that cometh to me I will in no wise case out.” (John 6:37)
